In the beginning of my Exchange year!

28TH August, a day when my dream came true, I arrived in America from Pakistan. The day to have different experience I was so excited, we had 3 days orientation in Washington DC… I was in Cafeteria for the lunch so I took one apple to eat , I started eating it I bit it once and my tooth broke and this is how my new experiences began , my cheeks were swollen inside and I told my friend about it. I was too afraid to tell my Host mom about my tooth broken, I start crying in front of my friend. I said, I don’t know what’ll happen next now, are they going to give me return tickets to Pakistan because my tooth is broke now? She said Oh my God, No, no they are not going to give you return tickets she said just message your host mother about your tooth. I said no, she said you should have to tell her about it, so I picked up my cell phone open up face book and send her a message, Message: “my tooth is broke and it’s swollen inside”….. after sending her a message, I was too much afraid I was thinking is she’s going to give me a message of return tickets , I checked my cell phone 100 time in that one hour, after 1 hour I got a message from my host mother,
Message :Mom, ok - let me know result. We can see my dentist on Tuesday – I’ll call to try and reserve an appt. feel better!!! And Hi - just an update - spoke with the dentist. They said no problem if we need to take you on Tuesday - they will make an opening just for you!!!

 See you tomorrow!!!

August 30
And after her message I felt relief, I was like Thank God. Everything is good now.
On 31st AUGUST, I was excited but worried too,
Arrived in Atlanta met Emily (my host mom friend), I was standing at baggage claim. She came at to me and said, are you Anee? ( My nick name ) I said Yes, I’m anee! After welcoming she took me to the car parking, I told her about my tooth. She called mom and tell her about my tooth pain, Mom said we have to take her to the dentist. When I got to the dentist, He put up in the chair, he looked up at my tooth, he said it has to come out. I said okay I had no choice, first he stuck me full of needles, I couldn’t feel anything, and he pulled out my tooth. When I was in the chair getting my tooth out, I met my host mom first time. She hugged me and said you’re strong. She fed me a milk shake and took me for the more shots (Vaccination). When I got a shot, my mom asked, in which one you’re having more pain. I Said I’m having pain in my arm; she laughed and said you’re strong. Then we spent two more hours in school to get registered. After a long “Shots day” I came to home, made myself relaxed and get myself ready for the night dinner......
